PRKP Deparment Obliges Rusunami and Apartments to Have P3SRS

Jakarta Government obliges all simple owned flats (Rusunami), including apartments in Jakarta to have Owners and Tenants Flat Units Association (P3SRS).

Jakarta Housing and Settlement (PRKP) Department Head, Kelik Indriyanto stated, this policy is made based on Jakarta Governor Regulation (Pergub) No. 132/2018 about Encouragement of the Management of Owned Flats.
City Discussing Management of Rusunami"Since December 2018, socialization has been given to Rusunami and apartments developers and managements," he mentioned, Wednesday (2/20).
He wants those developers to show the progress in solving P3SRS problems until end of March 2019.
"We hope they can do it as good as possible, start from forming deliberative committee until annual general meeting," he added.
Jakarta PRKP Department's Coaching, Control, and Community Participation Division Head, Meli Budiastuti wants developers to facilitate flat occupants in forming P3SRS as it is regulated in Pergub 32/2018 article 9 paragraph 1.
"After forming P3SRS, they should inform PRKP Department Head. Later on, PRKP Department Head will issue decree (SK) to ratify P3SRS administrators," she explained.
She hopes all sides could follow the applicable regulation thus they are not subject to sanctions. PRKP Department gives deadline until end of March 2019 for developers and management to solve P3SRS problem as it is regulated in Pergub. If they ignore it, they will get reprimand letter or even revocation of their legal entities.
